Visit the TSC Website

Start by visiting the TSC website at www.tsc.go.ke.

Navigate to the online services section and select HRMIS Teachers. From there, choose the ‘Teacher Transfer’ option.

Log In

 Log in using your TSC number, ID number, and mobile number.

You will receive a six-digit authorization code via SMS, which you will need to enter to proceed.

Select Your Teacher Category

 The system will automatically determine whether you are a primary or post-primary teacher based on your login details.

Submit a Request for Transfer

Click on the ‘Submit a Request for Transfer’ button to begin the transfer process.

Fill in Details

 Fill in all the necessary details, including the reason for transfer, the desired transfer date, your current station, and the requested county.

Attach Supporting Documents

 If your transfer request is due to reasons such as insecurity, medical grounds, or swap, you will need to attach supporting documents.

Click on “File Attachment(s)” to upload the necessary files.

Review and Confirm

 Review all the information you have provided, check the declaration box, and click ‘OK’ to confirm.

Finalize Document Attachment

Use the ‘Browse’ option to select the document you wish to attach.

Add any remarks if necessary and click ‘Ok’ to finalize the attachment.

Submit Your Application

Once you are satisfied with your application, click the ‘Submit’ button. Your application status will now be marked as “Pending.”

Logout

To complete the process, click ‘Logout’ to exit the system.

Important Notes:

  • A teacher’s transfer request may not be considered until they have served in their current station for a minimum of five years. However, there are exceptions to this rule, as specified in regulation 27 (2) of the Code of Regulations for Teachers.
  • Once you have submitted your transfer request, the Commission will acknowledge receipt promptly.
  • The decision of the Appointment Board will be communicated to you, and transfers will be granted subject to the availability of vacancies and replacements.
