The current TSC Vice chairperson is Leila A Ali.

 Leila A Ali was appointed as a member of the Teacher Service Commission (TSC) on May 4th, 2020.

With over 12 years of experience in the financial sector in both Kenya and the United Kingdom, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as the Commission Vice Chair.

Ms. Leila has a proven track record of incubating small-sized companies and transforming them into profitable and successful entities.

Her strategic thinking and leadership skills have been instrumental in her ability to drive growth and innovation in the organizations she has been involved with.

Leila holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the London South Bank University and is an affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Her strong financial background and analytical skills make her a valuable asset to the TSC.

In addition to her role at the TSC, Leila has also served on the boards of the Wangari Maathai Foundation and the Competition Authority of Kenya.

Prior to joining the TSC, Leila worked with Baker Tily Merali as the in-charge of planning and execution of large and medium-sized company’s due diligences and audits, including those of non-governmental organizations.
