In 2017, Kenya witnessed a transformative shift in its education system with the introduction of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), replacing the traditional 8-4-4 system.
Among its key components is Junior Secondary School (JSS), a vital stage in Middle School Education where learners transition from grade 6 to grade 7.
The responsibility of deploying and employing teachers for JSS falls under the purview of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
