Inpatient Benefit: Comprehensive Coverage for Hospitalization

Under the Inpatient Benefit, you’re covered for various hospitalization needs, including:

ICU/HDU/Critical Care and Theatre Charges
Drugs/Medicines, Dressings, and Internal Surgical Appliances
Pathology/Laboratory

Dental Benefits Include:

Optical Benefits Cover:

In critical situations, members can access emergency transportation within East Africa via road ambulance, fixed-wing, or helicopter services.

Two air evacuations per family per annum are allowed within the policy period.

The benefits structure varies based on your job group, ensuring that your coverage aligns with your needs and responsibilities.

For specialized treatments not available locally, members can access payments exclusively for international referrals.

Approval from the Ministry of Health is required for treatments outside Kenya.

Group Life Benefit: Ensures financial support for the next of kin upon the demise of a principal member.
Last Expense Benefit: Provides financial assistance for funeral expenses, payable within 48 hours.

Psycho-social support programs: Addressing conditions like chemical dependency, stress, post-traumatic counseling, and more.
Services include: Psychiatric and tele-counseling, onsite counseling in special instances, and referrals to face-to-face counseling.

Certain expenses are excluded from the scheme, such as cosmetic treatments, injuries from war or terrorism, and self-prescribed drugs.

Eligibility: Who Can Benefit?

All teachers employed by TSC actively in service from 18 to the mandatory retirement age.
One legal spouse and four dependent children.
No age limit for child dependents with a disability.
